Dedicated only to long reach solutions, WM Plant Hire operates one of the largest fleet of long reach excavators in the UK to suit a wide range of applications.
From 10 to 29 metre reach, our plant ranges from 8 to over 100 tonnes for light to heavy duty demands of land and water based operations. For certain applications, up to 30 metre reach can be achieved.
We are happy to consult with our Customers to ensure that we specify the right machine, using our expertise to assist in the safe and effective delivery of the work operations.

Our long reach excavators are ideally suited to deep excavations including cofferdams, access shafts, cut and cover tunneling, deep drainage trenches and installation/removal of underground storage tanks. On remediation contracts, underground obstructions such as gas storage tanks, steel or brickwork chambers can be removed at safe working distances. Deep insitu excavation of contaminated material can be carried out for soil mixing and treatment.
We have been involved in several specialised civil engineering projects requiring the use of our long reach excavators, demonstrating their versatility in carrying out a wide range of tasks. Such operations are beyond the reach of standard machines. Recent Projects: |
